When did we stopped dancing together?

Why did we forget the steps that showed us we belonged one to another?

We no longer dance...

Time has driven us apart...

has teach us different things... different moves...

Your hand may be close to mine...

but your heart is far, far away...

I have tried... i have tried for us both to believe

that all the wounds could be healed

and all the mistakes could be forgiven...

I tried to embrace everything i had from you in me...

and cling to it until my strengths run out ...

but you just emptied yourself of me...

and ripped me from what i had left...

all the dreams, all the hopes...

You stripped them away from me

when you turned your heart away

and found there was no place for me...

Now we are nothing but strangers one to another...

Old memories of a world that has fallen...
